Sukkot: The "Happiest" Jewish Holiday

In the Torah, and throughout our liturgy, the holiday of Sukkot is constantly referred to as Z'man Sim'chah'taynu, the time of our rejoicing.  This week-long festival is filled with joyous activities, from festive meals to "Shake a Lulav" campaigns.

"Sukkot Across America" is a warm invitation extended to you personally, from both NJOP and nineteen Jewish communities across America urging you to come and experience the joys of this amazing holiday.  Whether the program offers live entertainment or delicious desserts, it is our way of expressing "our home is your home."   In this case, however, the home is a simple, temporary hut with a roof made of branches!

If your city is one of the fortunate nineteen  participating communities, call or click below for more information.  If your city isn't listed, call your local synagogue and find out if they have any special Sukkot programming that you can attend.

Wishing  you a very happy Sukkot
