What
Information We Collect and How We Use That Information:
Our survey, evaluation and registration forms, as well as our shopping
cart may require users to give us contact information that may include
name, e-mail address, format preference (HTML vs. Text), address,
interests, and similar information. We do not permanently store
sensitive information that we receive from our visitors. For each
visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes
only the visitor's domain name, but not the e-mail address (where
possible).
We
collect only the domain name, but not the e-mail address of visitors
to our Web page, aggregate information on what pages consumers access
or visit; however, we do collect the e-mail addresses of those who
communicate with us via e-mail and information volunteered by the
consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.
If
you supply us with your postal address on-line, you may receive
periodic mailings from us with information on new programs, services
or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings,
please let us know by calling us at the number provided above, e-mailing
us at the above address, or writing to us at the above address.
You
may receive mailings from other reputable organizations. You can,
however, have your name placed on our do-not-share list by e-mailing
us at the above address or writing to us at the above address and
providing us with your exact name and address.
If
our information practices change at some time in the future we will
post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes
and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If
you are concerned about how your information may be used, you should
check back at our Web site periodically.
Visitors
may prevent their information from being used for purposes other
than those for which it was originally collected by calling us at
the number provided above, e-mailing us at the above address, or
writing to us at the above address.
Internet
Protocol Address:
We may choose to collect an IP address from all visitors to our
site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to
your computer when you use the Internet. We may use IP addresses
to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our site,
analyze trends, track users' movement, gather broad demographic
information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the site,
and deliver customized, personalized content. IP addresses are not
linked to personally identifiable information.
Use
of "Cookies":
We do not currently use "cookies".
Security:
When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information
such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure
server. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical
facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of
information that we have collected from you at our site.
Email
this Page and Virtual Postcards:
If a user elects to use our referral service or our virtual postcard
service, we ask them for the friend's name and e-mail address. The
National Jewish Outreach Program will automatically send the friend
a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the site or linking them
to their postcard. The National Jewish Outreach Program stores this
information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail.
Other
Web Sites:
Our Site contains links to other Web sites. Please note that when
