SAA/C Follow Up

Now that your synagogue/Jewish center has had a successful Shabbat Across America/Canada program, its time to concentrate on follow up! SAA/C was a wonderful way to bring people into the synagogue, but now you have to get them to come back for more. Here are some exciting programs and ideas that can be used for follow up. Good luck!

PASSOVER

Passover is right around the corner. Why not offer NJOP's Model Seder or Passover Workshop programs at your congregation. Have your members call the SAA/C participants that they met at SAA/C and invite them to the program.

HEBREW

Offer one of the National Jewish Outreach Program's famed Hebrew Reading Crash Courses. These classes teach Hebrew reading from the absolute beginning and is free of charge to both your synagogue and the student! NJOP will provide you with all of the necessary materials, including a teacher's guide, flash cards and text books. All you need to do is provide a volunteer teacher and a location. BASIC JUDAISM

The National Jewish Outreach Program offers a 5 week Crash Course in Basic Judaism in synagogues and Jewish centers throughout North America. Why not add your name to the list.
