Read Hebrew America/Canada 2008-5768 – $500 Grant Giveaway!
The National Jewish Outreach Program will randomly select 25 participating RHA/C locations and award them each a grant of up to $500 to toward local advertising and promotion of their Read Hebrew America/Canada program.
To be eligible for the grant, your synagogue/center RHA/C coordinator must place a check mark in the box on the RHA/C application form indicating affirmatively that the organization agrees to abide by each of the following requirements.
1. All ads/flyers produced for RHA/C must clearly and prominently state that Read Hebrew America/Canada is sponsored by the National Jewish Outreach Program. In addition, if you choose to create your own ad/flyer, you must include the NJOP logo. Please contact your Regional Program Coordinator at NJOP for a copy of the logo. To be eligible for the grant, all ads and promotional material bearing the Read Hebrew America/Canada name and/or the NJOP logo must be submitted to NJOP for pre-approval.
2. All names and addresses of the RHA/C participants must be sent to NJOP immediately after the first class is held. This will enable NJOP to send copies of the Reshith Binah Hebrew primer to be given to each participant.
3. To be reimbursed up to $500, you must forward to NJOP, in a timely fashion, a copy of the actual ad/promotional material, together with a bill or invoice indicating all of the related expenses.
4. NJOP reserves the right to refuse to provide the grant to any organization that does not comply with the above requirements.
